FROM ARTWORK TO PRESS

The digital revolution has played a key part in transforming the label industry and with this method we are now able to add even more flexibility to label manufacturing. Four colour process digital print allows our customers to have more control and versatility on their prints giving the opportunity to change designs regularly, keeping within their product trends. Digital label printing has been utilised within the food industry as it offers a more eye-catching, vibrant label.

Digital print can be finished with a matt or gloss varnish and it allows our customers to be more creative and personalised with their products.

ECOPET LIDDING FILM

Recyclable lidding film is a resealable, mono material solution that consumers can conveniently place in their home recycling bin for kerbside collection. It is available in either PET or PP, and has been designed to be used with a tray of the same material to produce a lightweight, resealable pack that has been classified as ‘Recycle’ by OPRL and collected in its entirety through the existing waste collection system.​

Currently, the majority of local authorities in the UK do not collect flexible films at kerbside, therefore any packs with a film lid require the consumer to remove the lid prior to recycling the tray and dispose of it in their general waste, which is then sent to landfill or for incineration. Our recyclable lidding film is not detached from the tray, allowing the consumer to conveniently put the entire pack into their pots, tubs and trays kerbside waste stream.

TAPES

The packaging industry has evolved greatly in recent decades, with more and more people purchasing online. The industry has seen a significant rise in products that help protect our purchases. One significant item that we use daily is tape. Tape is the safety net to our products and is also a marketing opportunity to promote your brand.

With our partners we supply various types of tape with different adhesives to suit your packaging needs. From hotmelt, solvent to acrylic each adhesive holds different properties depending on your sealing needs.

Luggage Tags

Self-Tie Tags for identification tags, ideal for Trays, Totes, Dolavs, Pallets etc We have a selection of colours to make to make tagging and identifying your products easier.

Printed Tape

Printed and plain packaging tapes are available in various lengths and widths for your machines or tape guns as well as offering different colours, strength and core sizes to suit your needs.

Pallet Wrap

In a variety of colours, thicknesses, blown or cast we have an extensive range to offer. We also offer hand and machine pallet wrap with recycled content, which helps the environment whilst also avoiding Plastic Packaging Tax.

Transfer Ribbons

There are lots of sizes available, from many different manufacturers and it’s important to make sure you’re using the correct width ribbon to print your label stock. That’s where we can help. If you let us know what material you are printing, we’ll find the best ribbon for you!

ECOPET Lidding Films

What makes ECOPET stand out from other Lidding Films is its made from Polythene Polymers and these are the most recycled in the world, We can supply these in all sizes and can be shipped from the Midlands to any part of the UK in days.As well as offering a lightweight ECO solution, the resealable characteristics of our lidding film can offer an opportunity to remove other packaging elements, such as clip-on lids. It runs easily on existing lines without impacting on manufacturing speeds and is cost neutral compared to existing reclose solutions.
